This is an AU story set during the Pony Express. On one of his first runs for the Pony Express, Kid finds Lou who works at the livery beaten. He asks her to come back with him but she refuses and later when he goes back to see her, he sees her with someone else. Can he forget about her, or can a package left at the station be all that he needs to bring her back.

Buck rescues a strange young woman but finds himself in great peril from a legendary pack of wolves.

Buck hooks up with Abigail McPhearson after he saves her from a man from her past.

This is an alternate ending to "Blood Money", in which Lou can't get away from Lambert in time and is forced into a hard choice. The PG-13 version will be posted at the Writers Ranch.

Kid reacts unexpectedly when he learns Lou and Jimmy shared a special moment together; a prequel to the Tent Story Series at the Ranch.
